War-Torn Environment Concepts

Hi guys,

I hope this finds you well and safe.

Here are some concepts of a destroyed downtown city and a corporate office inspired by video games like Call of Duty or Battlefield.

Using 3d programs such as SketchUp and Lumion really helps me create fast renders grounded in real-world architecture with accurate dimensions and details. Lumion allows me to change the weather and time of the day with a few clicks of the mouse to create moods.

I can also try different 3d assets (e.g. vehicles, props, military boxes, etc.) by quickly replacing, moving, rotating, or deleting them. The level of destructions and damages (e.g. debris, blood, wall stains, etc.) can be increased or reduced by turning layers off in 3D or in Photoshop.

The perspective and lighting (e.g. real-time lighting for exterior and interior) will always be accurate.

The last four interior concepts show greyscale 3D sketches and a B/W line sketch which is how I usually start with before going into finished full-colored renders. Since these do not have colors, light, and shadows, they are really fast to generate by placing and rotating 3D assets allowing me to design different designs quickly.

Thanks for viewing and have a great day!
