Bird Box – Mobile Experience

Inspired by Netflix’ s Bird Box.

I designed these experiential concepts under the art direction of Richard Sears (Executive Creative Director).

THE BIRD BOX EXPERIENCE/NETFLIX IS AN INTERACTIVE, MOBILE ACTIVATION THAT IMMERSES GUESTS
INTO THE STORY OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER STARRING SANDRA BULLOCK.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- The interior of a double-decker bus was gutted and rebuilt as the main set piece
from the film.
- The 3-minute experience contains interactive content with VFX and physical jump
scares.
- Key props from the film are on display in the experience.
- The throughput on the bus is 200-250 guests a day. Organic social sharing grows from the interaction.
- A built-in selfie-cam allows guests to take a selfie in the environment and share on social media. All analytics are captured for total reach and impressions.
- Guests get a takeaway themed Bird Box gift as they depart.
- The wrapped bus acts as moving billboard from stop to stop through each city.
- The experience was also used for the press junket, interviews, and gaming events.
